Metaplastic carcinomas comprise a heterogeneneous group of tumour including; Low-grade adenosquamous carcinoma, Fibromatosis-like metaplastic carcinoma, Squamous cell carcinoma, Spindle cell carcinoma, Metaplastic carcinoma with mesenchymal differentiation, and Mixed metaplastic carcinoma.
