An invasive serous adenocarcinoma typically manifesting in the ovary. Cases with identical morphology have been described arising in the peritoneum, almost exclusively in women. Morphologically, serous surface papillary carcinoma may be a well, moderately, or poorly differentiated. It is characterized by a papillary growth pattern, often associated with the presence of psammoma bodies1
