Syringofibroadenoma is a rare, benign eccrine neoplasm usually arising on acral areas as a solitary, often verrucous, papular or nodular lesion. Multiple lesions are referred to as syringofibroadenomatosis. Histologically, the tumour is characterized by monomorphous, cuboidal epithelial cells forming anastomosing cords which usually extend into the mid-dermis and are surrounded by a fibrovascular stroma.
Syringofibroadenoma arises primarily in elderly patients. Complete excision of solitary lesions is curative; the treatment of multiple lesions depends on size and location1
