Clear cell ependymoma is a histological variant of ependymoma, characterized by an oligodendroglia-like appearance with clear perinuclear halos. This variant tends to be preferentially located in the supratentorial compartment of young patients. Clear cell ependymomas correspond to WHO grade II but may follow a more aggressive course 1
