/span>ipoblastoma and lipoblastomatosis are benign, relatively small (2-5cm) tumours resembling fetal adipose tissue. They most commonly affect the extremities.

Lipoblastomatosis> ommonly found in the first three years of life; males are more frequently affected. Both tumour types are benign. Lipoblastomatosis shows a tendency to recur; wide surgical excision of diffuse tumours is therefore recommended 1
