Chondroid lipoma is a rare benign adipose tissue neoplasm histologically characterized by nests and cords of abundant uni- and multivacuolated lipoblasts and mature adipocytes in a prominent myxoid to hyalinized chondroid matrix. Chondroid lipomas are highly vascular; haemorrhage and fibrosis are frequent. The tumours are usually well circumscribed, often encapsulated, and sometimes multilobular. They most commonly arise in the proximal extremities and limb girdles; trunk and head and neck areas may also be affected 1
